Having a Television

After years of having no television at university, it does feel lovely to have one now that I have moved back into my family home in London. It is amazing how out of the loop one can become if they have no access to a television. Current affairs completely passed me by for 5 consecutive years. Whenever I returned home for holidays, my mother would express her amazement at how little I knew was going on in the world! She would then proceed to spend my holiday time educating me on current developments. Though this was helpful, the whole point of current affairs is that they are current, so the moment I returned to university, I was completely out of the loop once again.

If only I had used some Co-op electrical discount codes whilst at university. I could have bought a television so cheaply and kept myself up to date. I guess one has so many things to do at university that watching television is quite a low priority leisure activity. It would have been good to have known what was going on in the world though because now I am facing a backlog of five years world developments to catch up with.
